About the Author...
JG Faherty with his demonic weasel
JG Faherty has had a varied career, which provides a rich background for his
writing.
He began writing horror/dark fiction in 2003, and cracked his first pro markets (flash fiction and poetry) in 2005. Since then, he's seen his work published in Cemetery Dance Magazine, Wrong World, MagusZine, and several other anthologies, magazines, and e-zines. In late 2008, he'll have his first collection of short stories (tentatively titled "Houses of the Unholy") published. He's a member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA), Garden State Horror Writers Association (GSHW), and the NY Horror Writers Association. A life-long fan of horror and dark fiction, he particularly enjoys watching low-budget horror and science fiction films.
JG worked for several years in environmental science, laboratory sciences, and biomedical research, eventually moving on to quality control laboratory management. He has also worked as a professional photographer, market research specialist, and zookeeper. A Certified Resume Writer, he presently he owns and operates a successful resume preparation company (www.a-perfect-resume.com), and writes grade chool test preparation guides and educational material for major publishing houses.
When he’s not writing, JG spends time hiking with his wife and two Labrador retrievers, cooking, volunteering as an exotic animal caretaker, playing the guitar, and pursuing his work as a semi-professional photographer. He is presently hard at work on several short stories and novel-length manuscripts. His favorite holiday is Halloween, and as a child, one of his favorite playgrounds was a cemetery. If you see him at a horror convention, feel free to buy him a Guinness.
The demonic weasel is simply there because he wants to be, and because the author couldn't locate his armadillo.
