Editorial Services
Whether you're building an intricate fictional world, polishing a critical corporate document, or just looking for a second set of eyes for that final proofread, your writing demands identical fundamentals: structural integrity, absolute clarity, and error-free quality.
That's where I come in.
As a professional editor, proofreader, and manuscript doctor with more than twenty years of experience, I bring dual expertise in genre fiction and corporate business documents to any project. I partner with creative authors to refine speculative fiction, dark fantasy, horror, romance (all levels), and science fiction—ensuring that each story holds true to the author's voice while optimizing logic, pacing, emotional tension, and anything else that needs a fix. I also have a strong background in line editing commercial non-fiction, executive business communications, web content, and academic admissions letters.
Because much of my portfolio involves proprietary material, confidential manuscripts, and corporate strategy, much of my work is strictly bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Your intellectual property is entirely secure. I evaluate projects based on individual complexity and am pleased to provide a complimentary 500-word sample edit to ensure my editorial approach aligns perfectly with your goals.
Below you can find a list of services and suggested pricing; all pricing is negotiable depending on the project type and size, and if there's a service you need that's not listed, ask me!

About Me:
In addition to being an Amazon best-selling author with more than 27 books and 100-plus short stories to my credit, I have also been a fiction and non-fiction editor since the 1990s. My editing and proofreading work has included genre novels and short stories, non-fiction books and booklets, corporate operating procedures, websites, marketing collateral, and essays. I've also served as a writing instructor for several libraries, as a writing mentor for the Horror Writers Association, Mystery Writers of America, and the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association. Currently, I oversee the HWA's entire mentorship program. Many of my mentees and clients have gone on to become published authors, and more than a few have been nominated for industry awards (with a few winners, too!).
I provide prompt, accurate work and accept payment via PayPal or Venmo.
Complimentary sample edits are available.
